We need YOUR voices!

WHAT:  Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NCDHH) is hosting the Strategic Planning Virtual Town Hall Meetings. 

 

WHO: NCDHH’s local area Advocacy Specialists are inviting anyone interested, such as but not limiting to:

  • Individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing,  

  • Sign Language Interpreters and Caption Service Providers

  • Public and Private Service Providers, Medical/Behavioral Health Service Providers and Educators

  • Stakeholders

  • Allies of the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing Communities (such as Parents, Families, Friends and Advocates)

 

WHY: NCDHH’s strategic planning process is dedicated to identifying the agency’s mission, vision and goals in order to continue advocacy in Nebraska.  If there are areas of advocacy, services, resources or work you would like us to provide more (or less) of, now is YOUR time to voice! 

 

WHEN & WHERE: The town hall meetings will take place online through Zoom on the following dates and times.  It is encouraged to attend the town hall meeting closest to your area; however, if that date does not work, please feel free to attend a date and time that works for your schedule!

Emergency SILC Meeting

April 28, 2021 there will be an Emergency SILC Meeting from 9:00-10:30 AM on Zoom.  Contact kathy@nesilc.org and the link will be sent to you.
 

SILC Interview Committee will report out and a vote by the full SILC regarding their recommendation for the SILC Executive Director position as charged by the full SILC
